About the service

01What is Sell Your Goods?

Sell Your Goods is an online platform where people can buy pre-loved household items, including furniture, appliances, tools, kitchenware and more.

02How does Sell Your Goods work?

We arrange an appointment to view the items you would like to sell. Suitable items are prepared and advertised in an online sale, where buyers can purchase them securely. Items are paid for in full before the collection date, and sold items are collected at an arranged time.

03Is it free to use Sell Your Goods?

Buyers are required to register on the website to browse listings and purchase items. Registration is free, but an administration fee applies when an item is purchased.

Buying

04How do I create an account to purchase items?

Visit the Sell Your Goods website, open My Account and follow the registration prompts. You will need to provide some basic information to get started.

05How do I make a purchase?

Browse a current sale, choose the item you are interested in and proceed to checkout. Follow the payment instructions shown during checkout to complete your purchase.

06What payment methods are accepted?

Sell Your Goods supports secure payment methods that may include credit or debit cards, bank transfer and supported online payment platforms. The methods available for your order will be displayed at checkout.

07Can I negotiate with sellers?

Buyers do not negotiate directly with sellers. Sell Your Goods reserves the right to negotiate with a seller on a buyer's behalf.

08What happens if I am not satisfied with my purchase?

Sell Your Goods endeavours to declare known damage in each listing. If you find material damage at collection that was not declared on the website, raise it with the team before removing the item; a full refund may be considered within reason. These are second-hand items, so general wear and tear is expected and is not normally grounds for a refund. Electrical items that could not be tested at the premises should be tested within 12 hours and any issue reported promptly. Once an item has been removed from the property, it is considered sold.
